Complimentary, Requires Advanced Registration Join us for a Women in Leadership complimentary lunch on Tuesday, May 20, from 12:30 - 1:45 pm, where we will have a discussion on the power and impact of mentorship, provide tools for professional pathways for women, and create a dialogue on issues we face in the workplace, along with overall support and encouragement.
For Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility -DEIA efforts to be successful, people at each level of an organization must be positively motivated, feel welcomed, and be given the skills to navigate apathy and resistance. Leaders working to create real change in their organizations toward a more just and equitable workplace may feel overwhelmed, frustrated, or burned out. Our workshop will unpack transformational and transactional leadership and explore how leaders can push past traditional norms to inspire action and create processes for sustaining positive change momentum.
Learning Objectives:
Learn the difference between transformational and transactional leadership.
Identify at least 2 leadership skills needed to foster trust.
Discuss their unique transformational leadership style and one area for growth.
